It’s been a busy night for Division I commitments in the Hudson Valley region, folks.

Two of the leading players on sectional championship teams — both of whom are senior midfielders — made their college choices, and both will be heading to Division I programs.

If you have checked our “Updated recruiting review and commitment rundown” the last few hours, you already know the news.

Forrest Walter (pictured above at right), from defending Section 1 Class B champion John Jay, has chosen Colgate. Kevin Christopher, from defending Section 1 Class C champ Putnam Valley, has selected Siena.

Be sure to check back for more on these commitments.

Forest, good things comes to he who waits. Excellent call on Colgate. Coach Nagle is lucky to get you. A great school for sports and academics. Good luck with your senior season JJ.

  2. Lax says:

Hey Joe, random question. When do regular season schedules generally come out?

  3. Joe Lombardi says:

    Lax –

Good question. There’s no set date. But I would say by late December, maybe as early as mid-December, we should have most of the schedules for teams in the Hudson Valley/Long Island/Connecticut region.
