Well gang, it was a busy weekend of fall ball action.

Ric Beardsley, pictured above, was among the distinguished alums on display as a team of former Syracuse University stars took on this year’s Orange squad in an exhibition game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Though the alum fell 14-12, they did put on a good show for the fans.

Beardsley was among the defenders assigned to cover former Somers star JoJo Marasco, a sophomore star who was wearing fabled jersey No. 22 for the first time in live action.

Marasco was among four Syracuse multiple-goal scorers, finishing with two goals.

Dan Hardy led the alumni with five assists. Casey Powell had two goals and two assists. Former John Jay star Chris Daniello, a 2010 ‘Cuse grad, had an assist.
