The college fall ball schedule will be hitting high gear this weekend.

Among the more noteworthy events: Syracuse vs. SU alum on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Carrier Dome and the fourth annual Nick Colleluori Classic at Fidley High School in Folsom, Pa., on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. Among the teams involved in the latter event: Hofstra, Cornell, Towson and Fairfield.

Here’s a rundown of the college fall schedule.

In addition to the college events, there are plenty of travel team events in the coming weeks.

Franklin & Marshall Fall Brawl Tournament – Oct. 16-17

Trinity College Tournament – Oct. 24

The Catamount Classic; Lax for a Cure

Lots of ties to this year’s recruiting class! This is off the top of my head so forgive me if I miss someone…

    Teams:
    University of Vermont (Andrew Buckanavage)
    University of Massachusetts
    University at Albany
    Dartmouth College (Jake Weil)
    College of Holy Cross
    Sacred Heart University
    Quinnipiac University
    Endicott College
    Hartford University (Tyler Schuldt)
    Providence College (Robert Caffery)
    Bryant University
Western New England College (Mike Zavarella)

I would put down all the Section One guys already on those teams, but it would take a really long time.

    Have a great weekend!
