Ned Crotty scored on a back-handed shot with 5:46 remaining in the fourth quarter as the United States team outlasted Canada 12-10 today for the championship of the Federation of International Lacrosse World Games in Manchester, England.

Crotty’s goal snapped a 10-10 tie. Team USA got an insurance goal on an empty netter by Mike Leveille with 1:12 remaining.
