A large contingent of players and coaches with ties to the Hudson Valley/Long Island/Connecticut region will be a part of history on Saturday.

That’s because lax will be the inaugural event in the nation’s newest NFL venue as the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., makes its debut on Saturday, April by hosting the Konica Minolta Big City Classic.

The men’s tripleheader features Delaware vs. Hofstra in Game 1 at 1 p.m., Virginia vs. North Carolina in Game 2 at 4 p.m. and Princeton vs. Syracuse in Game 3 at 6:30 p.m. The latter two games will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
