The high school season has just gotten under way and things are heating up at LaxLessons.com.

Beginning this week, we are introducing a new feature, the LaxLessons.com “Lax Lesson of the Week.” We will be breaking down, demonstrating and dissecting all areas of the game, starting this week with over-the-cage shooting drill.

A great shooting drill that helps build muscle memory to ingrain proper shooting mechanics. Get your arms all the way up and back to hide your stick and use your wrists and torso to snap the ball down into the bottom corner.

Awesome. So many kids drop their sticks or do not bring them up high enough. I like the point of muscle memory as well to get them to naturally do it later.
