Good game today as PEARL RIVER pulls out a 7-6 win over Stepinac!!! Mike Scrima had 1-3 for PR. Patrick Toal and Eric Moreau each had 2 G’s…

Saw Ossining and Sleepy this weekend because their both in our league, Hen Hud. Ossining pounded Sleepy and has Nyack in a scrimmage on Thursday at O. Then they open up at Fox Lane on Saturday.

O is without a doubt a ridiculously fast team The offense was very fast with the ball and scored about 15 or 20 with a lot of different guys scoring. The defense was active and more physical than I thought they’d be and pounded the Sleepy attack. Sleepy scored 2 or 3.

Sleepy is young and under skilled. They need to learn how to move the ball faster and get it inside because they don’t have anyone who can really shoot from outside. Their defense did a good job of tryng to run with the Indians, but good luck with that they really are something to see.

I was surprised by them and one of their dads said the litmus test for them will be Nyack on Thursday and we don’t play them until the end of the season.

Sleepy only had 17 kids, so if you’re looking for playing time move to Tarrytown.

Don’t forget to stop by the tourny at Somers on Saturday!
