Four rising seniors from five-time state champion Darien have made college commitments.

Recently joining Cornell-bound goaltender Andrew West, who committed in the spring, are the following:

Bryan Annecchino, attack/midfield, Providence

George Benitez, defense, Stony Brook

Bobby Nolan, midfield, Gettysburg

    With Caputo from this year’s class going to Hofstra and Benitez to Stony Brook it’s good to see the D1 programs on the Island extend their recruiting beyond Westchester into Fairfield. With their success the last few years Darien has certainly gained more notice.
