    joe,
how many teams make the playoffs from each league?

    CO –

For the answer to your question, I turned to the one and only Chuck Cohen, who has been running the league since 1986.

Eight teams from each division will make the playoffs.

Mugz’s bar is 2-2 and not 0-3, probably one of the better teams in the B division, having just fell to the undefeated sports page 4-3.

The league is great as always. Always a ton of talent in division A.
Seems that even the weaker teams have a few studs
Nice to see a lot of teams with Tom L stickers on their helmets.
I have not seen every team play in the A division, but most of them
Here is a rundown of what I’ve seen.

No Limit= the defending champs are undefeated. Mike McCall and JoJo Marasco are the point leaders on offense. Peter Coluccini looks good in cage. No Limit should repeat but they could get knocked off.

Garden Catering Pineapples= Formerly the Green Lobsters. Has dropped 2 close games to No Limit and B & W. Ashra looks good in cage. Sam Dickey and Brandon Buckmayer are very good on O. Tim Shaw is good at D. The Pineapples got in trouble with the refs against B&W. If they can learn to stay out of trouble they could make some noise in the playoffs.

Beck and Wheatley= Hadn’t won a game until they upset the Pineapples last week and narrowly beat the Young Braves last night. Jeremy Guski and Andy Wasic are very good on O as is Jim Kaplar. Rocco D’Andrea is the best goalie in the league. B & W has a long history and always gets better as the season goes on.

Super Star Lacrosse= formerly Thirsty Turtles. Tom Werney is good as is Mark Digiovani . Mike Novasel is good in cage. Super Star appears to be a little down this year but they have veterans who know what to do when it counts.

Mid Ocean Roadrunners= TON of Duke players. Quinzanni leads the team on O. Mark Moran is good in cage. Josh Lesko is very good. Rob Rotanz is also talented. Mid Ocean could be a sleeper this year. They have legs and a ton of talent.

Young Braves= Key word with this team is young. David Hawley is very good on offense as is Nikki Dysenchuk and Jared Horowitz. I would not expect this team to do much in the playoffs but they could be at the top of the pack in a few years.
