Now that we’re more than halfway there (through the regular season that is), it appears things are started to maybe come in to shape. For the first time all season, the top six spots in the LaxLessons.com Top 25 regional rankings remained unchanged from the previous week.

It’s the final Tuesday of April action, folks, and we have some good ones in store. So let’s get rockin’ and rollin’.

Looking back, last week’s Top 25, our second edition of the season, wound up being the proverbial calm before the storm. There were just a few cosmetic changes from our first rankings. But wait till you see what’s happened this week.

Happy Monday, gang. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather this week. Starting today. Rain is supposed to arrive mid-morning and continue through mid-afternoon. Of course, unless there is heavy rain or thunderstorms, lax is usually played (depending on field conditions.) Stay tuned.

Just received word moments ago that the Empire State Games’ fate for 2009 has now been all but sealed. Though there has been no announcement yet, I’ve been told the decision has been made to cancel this summer’s Games and that coaches have been told they will not be needed this summer.
